Health Centre limited access 3rd and 4th March

As we reach the final stages of the Health Centre development it’s time to start work on the front of the building. To do this safely we are planning to close access via the front of the building on Wednesday 3rd March and Thursday 4th March. During these two days we will only be able to see patients with urgent medical problems but we will continue to triage as currently. All non-urgent problems will be deferred to another day.  If access the Health Centre is advised instructions will be given how to do this safely. All areas will be clearly signed.  Prescription collection from the dispensary will also be limited so unless you have run out of medication please do not collect your medication during these days.

Opening Times

During the current COVID-19 crisis the main doors for the Health Centre and Dispensary will be closed between 13:00 to 14:00, but phone lines remain open during this time.

Monday 08:00 - 18:30

Tuesday 08:00 - 18:30

Wednesday 08:00 - 18:30

Thursday 08:00 - 18:30

Friday 08:00 - 18:30

We continue to see patients at the Health Centre, but all requests will be via telephone appointment with a GP or nurse. Patients will then be offered a face to face appointment if required.

If you have an urgent medical need please telephone the Health Centre on 01477 533100 and choose option 2. You will be offered a telephone appointment on the day with a clinician who will decide what action needs to be taken. We are not taking any advance bookings.

When We Are Closed

Medical care outside of the Health Centre's opening hours is available from the NHS Eastern Cheshire GP Out of Hours Service.  The GP Out of Hours Service can be accessed via NHS 111.

Please telephone NHS 111 (dial 111) where you will be given advice about your problem or you will be directed to an appropriate service that can help you.  If you need to see a GP outside of the Health Centre's opening hours you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre at Macclesfield, Knutsford, Crewe, Northwich, Congleton or Handforth.  Out of hours home visits by a GP will be arranged by this GP out of hours service where appropriate.

Please do not ask to see a GP out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the Health Centre re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
